STEAM_API_KEY	—	yes	Steam Web API key (optional, free at https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey). 19 tools work without it — store, games, reviews, prices, deals, player counts, achievement rarity. A key adds the account tools: library, playtime, friends, achievements, wishlist, inventory.
STEAM_USER	—	—	Optional. Your own Steam vanity name, SteamID64, or profile URL, so the account tools default to you when you omit a steamid. Public profile name, not a secret.
STEAM_MCP_TOOLS	—	—	Optional. Which tools to load: 'all' (default, 41 tools), 'essentials' (15 tools, a much smaller context footprint), or 'essentials,get_inventory' to add tools by name.
