Install counts from skills.sh; skills without one are ordered by their repository's GitHub stars. Byte-identical copies are left out.

  1. find-skillsvercel-labs/skills

Helps users discover and install agent skills when they ask questions like "how do I do X", "find a skill for X", "is there a skill that can...", or express interest in extending capabilities. This skill should be used when the user is looking for functionality that might exist as an installable skill.

    1.0M44 tok idle · 1,673 in use
  11. reddit-automationflowkit-labs/skills

Find Reddit threads where people are genuinely asking for what you offer, then draft short, genuinely helpful replies — disclosing your affiliation honestly and naming your product only when it truly answers the question. Two moves: discovery — scan the right subreddits for real needs (recommendation asks, expressed pain, competitor mentions) and rank the few threads where you can actually help; drafting — write from real experience, respect each community's self-promo rules, and keep a human in the loop to review and post. This markets on Reddit the honest way: contribute value, disclose who you are, never astroturf. Distilled from the playbook behind doany.ai's Reddit agent. Triggers on "find reddit opportunities", "reddit marketing", "reddit automation", "reply on reddit for my product", "reddit community engagement", "reddit lead gen", or any ask to turn Reddit threads into genuine, disclosed marketing replies.

Claude skills FAQ

›What are Claude skills?

A skill (Agent Skill) is a folder with a SKILL.md file: YAML frontmatter with a name and a description, then instructions, sometimes with scripts and reference files beside it. The agent loads only the name and description at startup and reads the rest when a task matches. The format is an open specification (agentskills.io) used by Claude Code, the Claude apps, OpenAI Codex and other agents.

›How do I install a skill in Claude Code?

Copy the skill's folder into ~/.claude/skills/ to use it in every project, or into .claude/skills/ inside one project. Or run npx skills add <repository URL> --skill <name>, which installs it for the agents you choose. Every skill page here shows both commands.

›How much context does a skill use?

Until it is used, only its name and description: a median of 58 tokens across the 6,722 skills we measured. Once the agent uses it, the instructions add a median of 1,418 tokens for that task. A typical MCP server adds 1,362 tokens on every turn.

›Are skills safe to install?

A skill is instructions your agent follows, and 15% of the skills we measured also bundle scripts it can run. 50 tell the agent to pipe a download into a shell. Read SKILL.md and any scripts before installing; we flag those patterns on each skill's page.

›Should I use a skill or an MCP server?

Use a skill for know-how: a checklist, a house style, or how to drive a CLI you already have. Use an MCP server for live access to a system that needs auth or state, such as a database or a SaaS API. Often the answer is both.
